This book was fantastic! Given the subject matter, there were times when it was sad, but the overall theme of moving forward shined throughout. I absolutely loved all the sailing and detailed travel experiences; it was as if I were on the journey with Anna and Keane.

Oh wow, this story was absolutely beautiful. As you can tell there were a quite a few quotes from it that I loved, I couldn’t just pick one.

As I finished the book I was left an aww of how beautiful and reimagined life can be after a tragedy of loss. As you follow Anna in her journey to find herself after her fiancé dies; she learns that life doesn’t have to be mapped out or planned, that people come in and go out of your life for a reason and that you can find beauty and love in the most unexpected places.

I absolutely adored this story from beginning to end. It’s one of my top read this year, can’t wait to start book 2.

This was a perfect summer read and I flew through this because I could not get enough of Anna & Keane and their individual journeys of growth and healing. Their relationship felt authentic and the atmosphere of the book was so positive and “feel good”. I absolutely loved reading about the different islands they visited (so many I had not previously heard of!), the history behind some of the islands and their interactions with the various people they met along the way. Even knowing nothing about boats or sailing, I devoured this one and wished it would have kept going (maybe give us a sequel @trishdoller ?!). I read both a hard copy and listened on audio and highly recommend both!
