Eastern Lights is yet another "hits you in the feels" like only Ms. Cherry can do. I loved this storyline so much. It's different and there are more twist and turns than a rollercoaster. Which by the way, you'll feel like you're on with this book. My heart soared and then broke only to be filled again. I laughed at "Cap" and "Red". Their chemistry, ease of conversation, and banter made their back stories hit you like you were friends with them. The little details in this story added so much depth even the choice of a name made my heart sing. Life isn’t always about the one love you have but more "moments of love."
Best quote of the book (and there are so many beautiful ones) “It’s better to sit with the ugly truths than bathe in the beautiful lies.”

Is it me or are all the lines in this book/series so corny for an adult contemporary romance with trauma in it, like more than a college sports romance lol (it’s pretty bad yelp). The outline of this story seems to be in the same vein as the first book - the main characters know or met while in the childhood/teenager stage that have a tragic incident and then are forced proximity from each other in the present.

Idk the entire plot nor the characters doesn’t seem to be particularly clicking. Probably Brittainy Cherry’s books aren’t a thing for me going forward.

Its really good. I love how this book is about self-love and self-discovery. This book made me cry so much. I didn't think I would like it, but I really, really love it. A slow burn romance. 6 STARS!!!

LOVE THE CHARACTERS. They're very relatable.

Amei ler luzes do leste, li no momento certo.

This one hit. Oh it hit hard. All the tears for all the feels. Literally. In the middle of the night no less. I absolutely adored Connor & Aaliyah!! I already loved Connor after Southern Storms, so I loved getting to see him a little older, doing all the things he had been talking about doing. Connor & Aaliyah’s first night together was so fun, and the way they found their way back to each other? It was so meant to be. They both have their reasons to be hesitant with getting involved, but their connection is undeniable and they can’t fight the pull. I just loved them.
