This story had a lot of heart, some fantastic swoon-worthy moments, and I loved Remy DuPre!
I have been slowly declining into a slump and this may have just averted my nosedive.
I liked Harper as well. She was a hard-working heroine who held the world on her shoulders and deserved the love the Remy showered upon her.
I was so happy for these two fantastic characters when they got their HEA. And I immediately got the next book in the series downloaded on my Kindle!

Okay when I first picked up this book I was expecting a crude Alpha hockey player. Perhaps I have a stereotype in my head. But Remy is absolutely wonderful. This book is about a woman in a so-called man's world. Actually not even so-called, she's in an industry of men. The author makes the main character Harper so believable. In fact I wish she really did exist. She might be a powerful woman but she is also a woman who has struggled a lot to succeed. She is also a woman with feelings. The author did a wonderful job keeping this character true and strong and feminine. This book is absolutely adorable and sweet and strong and fun.
4 stars. I wasn't a fan of the first sexual interaction in this book. I felt the timing was weird considering the slight taboo-ness of the relationship, but the rest of the book handled it well.
A lighthearted contemporary romance book for readers looking for a book with a hockey player. I didn't think the plot or characters were that complex, but some of the sex scenes were spicier than I expected.

I love sports romances and this was a winner. Remy and Harper were a great couple. The bonus was the relationship between the sisters. Great writing and really great story.

This first book in Kate Meaders new Chicago Rebels Hockey Series was extremely enjoyable to read. As it caught my attention from the very start. Especially with that first fiery interaction between Harper and Remy. Which had me hooked and it stayed that way throughout.
As Harper and Remy were really great likable characters. Who had so much chemistry and I loved the relationship that develops between them. Plus all the secondary characters were extremely likable too. Including Harpers two half sisters Isobel and Violet. Not to mention Remys teammates and I'm really excited to see what this series has to offer next.
As for Irresistible You. It was sweet, sexy, fun, entertaining and engaging. And I would definitely recommend It to others.

Not my normal fare. I'm a huge hockey fan, but I primarily read historical romances. The entire genre of sports romance was completely beyond my ken before I gave this book a shot (ha!). I'm glad I did. The characters were fun, multi-dimensional, interesting, tons of baggage to work out, and (mostly) communicative. The hero is amazing -- hot, sexy, and a total gentleman. The heroine is broken in so many familiar ways. Getting to the HEA was a wonderful ride, and I admit my chest ached as many times as I laughed. Well played, indeed. Picking up the next one ASAP.
