4 stars...I love Leslie Jordan and he is missed greatly. It was nice to hear him narrating his own book. It was funny, awe inspiring and made me want to just hug him. I learned a lot about him in this short but sweet memoir. I needed a good laugh and he delivered. The main themes were him overcoming addiction, discussing being raised a southern Baptist and his journey of being a gay man raised in Tennessee and becoming a comedian in Hollywood and all the roles he played and how he became a Instagram sensation overnight. I definitely recommend this especially in audiobook format.
THREE OUT OF FIVE STARS!!! 6.57 CAWPILE
I didn’t have any intention of reading this book when I started this month but I adore Leslie Jordan so when I heard he had a new book out I had to read it!
I strongly recommend the audiobook because it’s Leslie Jordan…duhhhh
It was a very short book and the progression of the stories didn’t really make sense. I just recently read an autobiography that went in chronological order and I enjoyed it a lot more and I feel like it really would have helped this book flow better.
There were some very very entertaining stories and I am happy to say that I am now one of the millions of people who follow Leslie Jordan on Instagram!

This was a delight to listen to. What a loss that we will not get any more of Leslie’s stories.

Leslie Jordan, rip King 🫶🏻 This was such a fun quick read, and made me appreciate so much more of him and what he stood for. Loved the narration by him too!
Have loved him since his days on Will and Grace. He is hysterical, it’s nice to see how popular he has become....too bad it took a pandemic for people to realize this.
This was an absolute joy to read - I cannot recommend the audiobook version enough. Leslie reads it and it feels like you are sitting and listening to a dear friend tell stories. I couldn't contain my excitement when learning that he was a horse girl and recalled stories of his sweet little pony Midnight! Every story was equal parts endearing, hilarious, and thoughtful. This was a somewhat chaotic stream of consciousness type book that truly encapsulates Leslie's spirit. We are so lucky that he published this gem last year. Rest in peace to this pony loving icon :(
More like a 3.5⭐️, but I did find myself laughing out loud on several occasions.
I listened to this as an auidiobook on loan from Libby. I really think it wouldn't had been such a "fun" read had I read an actual hard copy of the book and not listened to it. I enjoyed Leslie in everything I watched him in...he surely will be missed on screen...
