I've always loved Leslie Jordan, especially as a kid watching Will and Grace. He had so many fun memories and this book really gave a perspective on his life and who he not only was, but wanted to be. He'll be missed, but his stories will live on.

I laughed, I cried…I just know he’s making everyone crack up in the sweet by and by.

Funny and heartwarming. I’ve loved him in many shows but especially the recent Cool Kids. I enjoyed listening to Leslie tell stories about his life in show business from Debbie Reynolds reassuring his mother about his career choices to Lady Gaga, stories from his many appearances (and death) in American Horror Story to The Help. Recommend for when you need a quick, light and funny listen. Short at under 5 hours

Short and sweet, just like the author, How Y'all Doing? allowed me to get to know Leslie more than even his Instagram posts. I hadn't realized how many roles he had in film and TV, or how crazy his rise to Instagram fame was. The stories he shares are wholesome and hilarious. I miss him being in our world.

My husband and I listened to the audiobook. It was bittersweet to hear Leslie's voice and stories knowing his life has been tragically cut short. I highly recommend this book. The writing is witty, with gems such as "I dropped straight from the womb into my mother's high heels."

As of 11-13-22 the audiobook is available on Hoopla, which is where we downloaded the book courtesy of the Norfolk Library in Norfolk, CT.

I received an advanced reading copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun, light, easy read that I was able to read entirely with Leslie Jordan's drawl narrating it to me in my imagination. Nothing groundbreaking or life-changing for me, just a fun life story to enjoy.
