This book was unique and exciting. I don’t think there’s any other book that could switch characters like that without me getting confused. Each character was so well developed that I had no problem keeping them straight. I enjoyed the story and the unexpected ending. It kept me guessing until the last page!

I love a good locked-room mystery with a murder!!! Especially when the suspects are New-York-Manhattan-rich and beautiful.

This was a fun, quick listen about a group of college friends attending a wedding in Miami. One by one, you learn that each college friend has a bone to pick with the groom. When he ends up dead, "It Could Be Anyone" whodunit!

I liked the writing style and sense of humor. It is a tough job, I think, to introduce a perfectly normal character and then pages later have to reveal the worst thing they've ever done and still make the reader want to root for the character...but  Jaime Lynn Hendricks managed to do that.

I recommend this read, especially for a beach vacation where you want to follow the highlights and low-lights of the 1 percenters!

This book was a very fast read! It is a murder mystery whodunnit that is written in multiple POVs. It can get a little confusing at first with all of the back and forth of the characters, but this book had me hooked from the beginning! There are many twists and turns that make you think you've got it figured out, but you don't actually find out until the very end.

Synopsis: Five college friends travel from New York to Miami for their friend Fiona's wedding. All of Fiona's friends agreed to be bridesmaids and groomsmen even though no one supports the marriage or likes the groom, Trevor.

So why did they all agree if they don't like him?

Trevor is a manipulative snake and is blackmailing all of Fiona's friends with secrets from their past. If they don't agree to be part of the wedding and convince Fiona that he's the perfect guy, he will share their secrets with everyone.

When Trevor ends up dead at his own wedding from an allergic reaction, the question is, which friend killed him?

Thank you @netgalley and @penzlerpub for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Easy audiobook that had me listening continuously!

  • the characters are too similar to each other
  • the storytelling has too much telling instead of showing

I started this one at 3pm on a Friday afternoon, and just finished it 8 hours later. I was so invested in the characters so quickly, and I felt compulsively pulled toward the end. I love a great friend group with secrets plot, and It Could Be Anyone delivered.

If you love multiple points of view, secrets hidden all over the place, a shocking beginning that you go back in time to understand, and characters pushed to extreme desperation, then get this on your TBR right now!
