The Guest List meets Miami Beach. Fortunately for me, I love both that book and that city SO much!! Quick, fun, compelling whodunnit

That was fun! Love a group of friends with lots of secrets. Throw in a murder and everyone’s a suspect and I’m in for the ride. Fans of Lucy Foley will delight.

This one has an amazing premise but wasn’t executed in an amazing fashion for me. There were a few good twists, but I didn’t find myself invested in the characters and the ending was a let down for me. I really liked this author’s debut novel, so I went into this one with high hopes.

If you’re looking for a fast paced thriller to get out of a slump or finish more books before the end of the year, this is a good one!

Page one starts off with a bang at a wedding as the groom, Trevor, dies! The POV switches between ~7 friends before, during, and after the wedding as we find out how everything unfolded. The friends are all close to the bride and try to put on a happy face for the event, but we quickly find out the groom was blackmailing all of the friends. I thought this was quick and easy, fun and entertaining read! (4⭐️)
