Someone get me a coffee because it’s going to be a long day! I couldn’t put this one down even if I tried and I stayed up way past my bedtime!
The title of this book is perfectly fitting because it literally could be anyone who killed the groom on his wedding day. From the outside, it seemed as though everyone loved Trevor. Even Fiona’s five best friends from college were thrilled to be included in the wedding party. VeeJay, Dutch, Ethan, Emma, and Allie all flew to Miami from New York to have “three days of fun” but each of them secretly hates Trevor. He had a personal agenda and made sure Fiona’s friends wouldn’t stand in his way. Blackmail is the perfect way to ensure they all stayed in line and he dug up each of their darkest secrets to scare them into submission. When Trevor dropped dead at the wedding reception, anyone could have been behind it…but who?
I’ve read books with multiple characters and points of view that honestly got confusing and I felt like I had to take notes to keep everyone straight. I definitely did NOT get this feeling in this book because Hendricks did such an amazing job describing the characters and giving them their own personalities that it was easy to keep them distinguished. As I furiously flipped through the pages, I thought I figured out who did it but changed my mind with each passing chapter. If you’re looking for a quick read with short chapters that keeps you gripped to the pages the entire time, this is definitely for you!

I flew through this book very quickly. I liked how it jumped between characters in a short span of time, I loved seeing everything from different perspectives. I enjoyed the way the story unfolded. The fact there was more blackmail going on than just the friend group, was interesting. Made me wish Trevor's part had a bit more to it. I really wish we could've got a section from Fiona, or a bit more on her character.
Personally I don't think the Who that killed Trevor was all that surprising. Now the way it was done, took me by surprise, very simple but well done.

This book was unique and exciting. I don’t think there’s any other book that could switch characters like that without me getting confused. Each character was so well developed that I had no problem keeping them straight. I enjoyed the story and the unexpected ending. It kept me guessing until the last page!

Another destination wedding mystery (but is Florida really a destination?). All the members of the bridal party have secrets they are being blackmailed over by the groom. It seems like a very basic premise for a mystery. I didn't care so much about who murdered Trevor, the groom. I figured he deserved it. I had hopes for how it was done but the truth was a tad more boring than I expected. However, I was more interested in the fall out of all those secrets. Because they were still going to come out somehow and they were still going to impact people. But by the end of the story I didn't even much care about that. I think my big struggle was that we never got to know any of the characters very well. Everything was in relation to their own particular secret. And we never got to know the victim or Fiona, his fiancée. It is incredibly difficult to get vested in a story where you don't really know enough about the characters to care. For a thriller, this book never had the high suspense points that I expected it should have and again I think it was because the characters were never developed enough for the reader.
Thanks to NetGalley and Penzler Publishers for a copy of the book. This review is my own opinion.

I absolutely love when a thriller opens with a bang and this one delivered. It starts at Trevor and Fiona’s wedding reception where the groom dies!! That definitely got my attention and then it flashes back to a few different timelines which slowly gives you the details about what led to his murder. Literally everyone was a suspect, Trevor was an asshole to all of them and it was fun to try and figure out who actually got fed up enough to off him. This group was a total train wreck that I couldn’t stop watching, if you like super messy people, who honestly are pretty despicable and are behaving horribly this was entertaining and fun. Things go off the rails from time to time and you may have to suspended some disbelief but as a popcorn thriller I really liked it!
This book is OOZING with lies, juicy secrets, and murder!! Jaime Lynn Hendricks takes readers on a very curvy ride in her new whodunit! It Could Be Anyone. (Is it you???
