Attempted this book twice, each time it lost my interest to the point I didn’t even know what was happening. Slow to start, not engaging

I have to admit from the beginning, this book was not for me. I don't like books where a bunch of people are involved and we revolve through their viewpoints. I tend to get too confused if there are too many characters. That being said, it wasn't terrible and did have a lot of twists and turns through the story, which I liked.
I feel like this book is a detective mystery that is part of a series. I'm pretty picky about not reading detective series, but I don't think this is an installation in a series of books. I also think I'd like more books about the detective, Jane Munro, as her situation in this books is fascinating in a train wreck sort of way.
I checked out White's website and her forthcoming book, The Swimmer, and it sounds interesting to me. I'm willing to give her another chance when that book comes out.
If you're a fan of mysteries where there's numerous suspects, each one has a strong motive, and everybody's a suspect until the end, you'll like Unquiet Bones.

Good mystery book with some twists and legal elements! It was a little slow in the beginning but really picked up around 75% in. Thats the only reason why I'd rate it 3.5⭐, I wish it was a little fast throughout but there were so many details that were irrelevant to the story. The ending was also a little weird and unexpected, I had some questions because there were things that got left unaddressed.
