Guardei várias anotações desse livro e vou levar as mensagens pra minha vida.

I promise it did not take me 6 months to read this book. I would read when I needed a nudge or some reassurance during this crazy year. Prior to reading Come Matter Here my collection of the self help/ spiritual genre was pretty slim. It’s hard for me to get into a book that doesn’t tell a story. Which is why I loved Come Matter Here. Before reading this, I considered writing in books other than textbooks to be blasphemy. But, I couldn’t stop underlining, highlighting, or circling while I read. I wanted to make sure I could go back to Hannah’s words whenever I needed them. Every young person in their 20s should read this book. Those days when we sometimes feel we lack purpose or can’t find our path? Hannah shows us we aren’t alone. She explains how to love and how to be grounded. She shows why learning to matter “here” where you are is better than always searching for something you won’t find.

Some good nuggets, but really all over the place. Maybe good for an 18-20 year old :)

This book put so many words to so many feelings I've had. I hope to always love deeply, to show up, and to never miss the miracles happening right in front of me.

Trust me when I tell you I got SO MUCH out of this book. These words will be dear to me for so many reasons. Some included, "Be the invitation. Be where your feet are. Walk in the valley. Be in the stories. Show up. And just come matter here - where you already are, where the real magic happens." These all remind me to be present, to be where I already am & to be there for others. Hannah writes about us all being in the same club, the one called “we’re all just doing the best we can” & I couldn’t agree more. So be here/there for yourself, for your loved ones, for your friends & do the best you can. So much life happens when we look around & decide to just live in the moments we have been invited into... & I think out of everything that reminder has been the most beautiful to me!

Third time's a charm for this book. I don't find it to be anything crazy unbelievably profound knocking you off your chair, but it's like a comfort blanket for me. I first read this book my senior year of college. I come back to Hannah's words when I need to be reminded of staying and showing up.

I'm a big fan of Hannah Brencher and her organization More Love Letters. I read the first book and enjoyed it but was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. That meant I came into this second book (which I had already ordered) a little wary as I expected not to like it as much as I hoped. I did like it however and was impressed by her story. At the beginning, I didn't feel like I could relate but there is so much I admire about the way she lives her life. Her voice comes across so well in this book (from what I can call her voice from her Instagram prescence) and I admire the way she tells her story.
