This book was a breath of fresh air. An easy read, practical and encouraging. It is a relief to hear from another Christian who suffered from depression and practical tips on how to seek God, renew your mind and be present in the moment, building strong relationships and walking in love and truth.

I started this book at 11:30 pm and could not put it down. I kept telling myself that I would go to bed after this chapter, but couldn't follow through.

Hannah's longing for roots and struggle to be vulnerable enough to form them is something I relate to.
I know what it is like to have people close to you pulling you through an episode of depression, rooting for your life because you can't care enough to get yourself out.
We all long to be known and struggle to get there.
Hannah's advice to be the invitation when struggling with FOMO is something we all need to hear. Community isn't instant and we will have to struggle through hard moments on our journey to find our people. Not everyone will choose to stay, but the people who do are still worth it.

Come matter here: an invitation to be known and to know others.

Is it possible to fall even more in love with Hannah’s writing after If You Find This Letter? I felt as though this entire book was a conversation, shared over coffee cups among friends. Hannah tells us what we need to hear about God, faith, love, life and depression. She is open and raw, exactly as she tells us to be from the beginning. I have not stopped recommending this book since I picked it up.

This book is absolutely phenomenal. Hannah has a knack for speaking into the things that have been weighing on my heart and mind, and this book was full of such timely reminders for me. Her writing is raw and hopeful, and Come Matter Here speaks God's truth and life over the places where fear and lies have crept in. Jesus did a powerful work in using Hannah to write this book, and I am excited to see how this book encourages people to press on and dig deep even in the midst of incredible struggles.
I know that this is one I'll return to again and again, even as the pages become worn and full of highlighting. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Y’all. This book. It met me right where I was at. Hannah challenges me and readers alike to “Be where your feet are.” And to run towards something and not away from something. It leaves readers encouraged and challenged to better themselves. And it’s funny and I want to be her friend. Highly highly recommend.

I cannot rave about this book enough. It’s so deep and simple and honest and vulnerable, piercing to the very depth of all the questions we ask as humans on this earth that we’re too familiar with. Easily an all time favorite!

This book is real, hopeful, and honest. I learned SO much from hannah brechner’s words and her story. I am so thankful that I read this as I’m moving on to my next chapter of life and I genuinely think this book has changed my mindset and how I’ll step into the next season.

Thank you KB. I love you dearly!!!!!

It took me a week and a half to read but I think it’s because I did not want to rush this one. This is the first non Victorian book I’ve read in 2020 and I felt I’ve gained so much knowledge.
