Definitely a fun book and I would love to see the characters come back and all the worlds cross over. This is one of his less-aged-well books though. Even so, still fantastic and funny.

A strong end to this series! I’m a little biased towards the original Percy Jackson series- and maybe it’s because I don’t have any background on Egyptian mythology (though I’m definitely intrigued now and looking for more information now!). There were many times I was confused and despite being action packed many of the side characters were forgettable- I had to relook them up. I appreciated the pace and immersive setting (Rick Riordan does it all so well!). There’s not any strong critiques- while I’m listening I like the book and I’m hooked. But as soon as I finish not much lingers with me. I appreciate that the trilogy wrapped up relatively neatly (with an opening for future stories!) Carter and Sadie are engaging narrators and some of the gods are delightful (and many even good ones are annoying like Horus and Isis).  Overall a solid read.
