I enjoyed this book. I'm so glad Riordan wrote a series about ancient Egyptian mythology. I enjoyed the Percy Jackson series more, but I still love his clever characterizations and fun plot devices. Good clean fun!

Serpents shadow is an excellent ending to the Kane Chronicles. No notes.
I do find that I enjoy some of Riordan’s other series better - perhaps because these characters started off older? However you swing it, still a fan.

Last book of Kane Chronicles (which I kinda hope it's not), is very good, like even best of all three maybe? An awesome conclusion of the book. So, this time Carter and Sadie had to face the evil old serpent, Apophis who tried to create chaos and end the world. The Kanes trying to find out how to defeated Apophis and somehow they are reaching to some point. I love this series so much, it's awesome and very good and— everything is so magical like it maybe looks kinda slow at the beginning (first book) but later just like usual, Riordan make all of lovable characters that I even liking the minor one called Leonid. The kinda-love-triangle added is very funny and interesting as well.
