Fan of the series overall, but don’t really like how he wrapped everything up in this book. Not a fan of the endings.
to me this book differs a lot than the previous ones in the trilogy. preparations for the main fight lasted ever since the beginning of the series and i was very thrilled to finally read about it. furthermore i felt like this book focuses solely on reaching the conslusion of the series which made me even more excited. i wish it was paced differently though. the characters overcoming difficulties made reading as enjoyable as in the preceeding books of this series up until the point the main fight eventually starts. i was a little bit let down. many events that seemed important were passing by too quickly. i think more pages should have been spent to describe the main fight and the aftermaths of it and that one too many things were left untold. but despite of how i wish it could all be wrapped up better, in my opinion it's still worth reading.

Ugh! Seeing how long it had taken me to read each of these books in this trilogy makes me cringe! It took way too long! But I definately felt more involved in the characters in this book. This one is probably my favorite in the trilogy, and then the first, and then the second. Carter, I feel like, is a very typical POV. I don't really know how else to describe it. But Sadie was absolutely hilarious and a lot like me so I loved her! I was on the edge of my seat for Walt because I had no idea what was going on with him. I love that Zia got to really be present in this book, she was a very fun character to get to know. Overall good book but I'm going to be glad to get back to the Heroes of Olympus series.
