What another banger from Karen McManus. She really knows how to make a story come to life. I was fully engrossed in the story of Brynn and Tripp and how this was all going to unfold. Some twists I definitely saw coming, but others I did not. There were times that I had to put the book down for a second to think about what just happened, but I immediately picked it back up to continue. I could not help it.

For me, Karen M McManus’ books are such palate cleansers because I know I am in for a fun and engaging plot, intriguing characters, plot twists and fast pacing. This book was no exception and I read this entire book in one hour and thirty eight minutes (yes i timed it). I really liked the dual POV with Brynn and Trip and I loved their development back into friends along with the mysteries that continued to unravel the more they looked into the murder.
