This was the second book I’ve read by McManus. I enjoyed One of Us is Lying but this one was even better. I thought I knew what twists and turns were coming but I was surprised!

Once again, Karen M. McManus delivers an entertaining read with engaging characters, although the plot does become a bit messy at times. While the story starts off slow, it gradually picks up momentum, keeping the reader hooked. It provided the perfect escape during the Easter break, keeping me thoroughly entertained.

wow.
i loved the different perspectives, and just the writing- i loved everything abt this.
( tripp and brynn <3 and ellie ofc. )
i stayed up to read this and it was honestly worth EVERY second.
it’s super similar to a good girls guide to murder vibes, unsolved case from a small town, a high school student solving it as a journalism project.. yea and AGGGTM being my favourite book ever just made this whole experience even more AMAZING. i loved how complex this was, and you could never guess what was coming next.
11/10.

ALSO I NEED A SEQUEL. THERE ARE TOO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS :(
