I really enjoyed this mystery, told through an intern pod caster, of a murder that occurred 4 years earlier. The characters were likable and the story flowed with ease. I’ve read this author before and her writing style speaks to me.
Definitely better than one of the other spin off books, although it is very much one of us is lying and the cousins merged together in terms of plot.

Even though I know rationally that this plot wasn’t very creative and the book is catered towards a much younger audience and the author’s prose could have been better, Karen McManus has a way of sucking me in. Such a fun read
A typical McManus. Highly entertaining. Got a little confusing with various names for the same people.
3 stars because the ending felt a little unfinished. One thing I have noticed is that KM has started referencing her books inside her books, which is something I find interesting.
