This was such an adorable Christmas read!  I thought the friends to lovers story was done really well - Brooke & Nicole had been friends since they were five, and when Brooke comes back home for Christmas, everyone but them can see how perfect they’d be for each other.  I loved the way that everyone, especially their mothers, just kept coming up with ways for them to bump into each other.  Subtle they were not but it put a smile on my face.  Plenty of swoon & a little bit of spice, this was a delight.

This was a fantastic start to my festive reads for the year.

This was a sweet, feel-good, small town, dual POV, F/F Christmas romance between two former best friends (one a lesbian and one bisexual). I liked it but overall it was just an okay read for me. Quick and entertaining if you're looking for something fast and light-hearted. Lots of Hallmark Holiday movie vibes. The standout for me was the Auditory Processing disorder rep - I thought that was handled really well and not something I read about a lot. Recommended for fans of Alexandria Bellefleur or Courtney Kae's In the event of love.

This was a fun, quick read that was full of memorable characters and witty banter that I’ve come to expect in Ms. Seabrooke’s writings. The setting in a small mountain town at Christmas left me with a warm, cozy feeling, and with the holidays approaching soon, it is the perfect time to settle in with some hot cocoa and a wonderful story about two lifelong friends who begin to realize that perhaps there is more to their relationship.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was SO CUTE. A lesbian Christmas childhood best friends to lovers romance? Perfect. The book was amazing for Christmas vibes and it was really happy and cute and just what I wanted to read. It was short so I read it super quick and I loved it. One thing I found kinda cringy was the whole joke about Nicole being Brooke’s Kidnapper, it got kinda old quick but it was cute and silly at first. The author’s note thingy at the end said that the author is a trans lesbian and I think that’s so cool that books like this exist and that I get to read a Christmas book without it being about a cringy straight couple lol :) . This is why representation is so important!!! It makes you feel so good when you can read about characters and actually relate to them! The reason I’m giving it a lower rating is because as a book itself it’s not one of my favourites, but for a Christmas romance it’s five stars and my favourite book. (If that makes sense)

E book

It was light and cute but way too simplistic for me. I could not tell the difference between the two pics. Brooke and Nicole had the same voice, which made it hard to connect with their love story.

4 stars. Really should’ve reviewed this yesterday after I finished reading it but it was my besties birthday and we went out for drinks and I genuinely don’t remember anything about this book. Just know that I enjoyed it when I read it.

That’s it. That’s the review.
