I really enjoyed this installment in the series. Neera was dealing with some chronic illness and had her own brand of optimism and independence offset by loneliness and dejection. Echo was a sweetie pie who doted on Neera and helped her integrate into to an new world and adjust to the changes to her body. Their love story was precious and tender. I enjoyed the support that Neera got from Edlyn and, eventually, Leith.
This also might be my fave version of mermaid “shifting”.

4.5⭐️ for this gem

The Earths atmosphere is slowly killing Neera. Turns out she’s not who she though she was. The solution is to relocate but with it being so expensive her only option is to visit the Prime Mating Agency and hope they have a match for her. Echo is over the moon at the news of having a match. He doesn’t care what the future holds, as long as she’s in it.

I LOVED how different this was to the other books in the series. Neera and Echo deal with so much in such a little time. I love how caring he is of her and is constantly making sure she is happy.

The ending is so sweet.
