I wasn’t sure if I would read the next book in the Prime Mating Agency series because I didn’t want to start it and then not finish it for seven months like I did with I Married A Birdman, but I was on high from loving I Married A Minotaur so much that I though I’d at least check out the preview for I Married A Merman. I was interested in it very quickly after that preview and wanted to continue reading! I was intrigued by the heroine being sick and then when I actually read more, I was really excited that Neera wasn’t actually a full human and was likely going to mutate into a mermaid. I know that’s probably obvious from the synopsis, but I didn’t read it because I was afraid that it would make me not want to actually pick it up right now since that sometimes happens to me even if I know I want to read the book. I see what’s going on in that blurb and my attention is lost — I don’t know why it happens, it’s inconvenient, but it does and so I wanted to avoid that. Anyway, I was just really looking forward to going wherever I Married A Merman wanted to take me!

I have to admit that I Married A Merman and Echo and Neera did not take the number one favorite spot in the series away from I Married A Minotaur and Zatruk and Rihanna, but I still enjoyed this book and and this couple! It was another awesome, new fun world to explore and was so beautiful. Echo and Neera were perfectly matched and definitely relatable in their overthinking ways sometimes. It was so cool to see Neera transform while also a little nerve wracking and suspense, but of course, everything works out wonderfully in the end. It was just a sweet, steamy, lovely book and I loved it!

Another good one from Abel. Wasn’t as invested in this as her other books. I think because the stakes were lower but still really good.

The insta-love intergalactic romance was not very beleivable. I loved reading I married a lizardman, but this book seemed to be just a repeat of lizardman.

Cute alien romance for the win!

I just adore these PMA books. They're so sweet and perfect reads for putting me in a good mood. This one was different in that the FMC changed but it was a fun read.
