I never thought I’d subject my mind to the expression « licks your dreams » but yet here I am utterly disgusted 🤢
I just couldn’t connect with the story and characters. The writing wasn’t really good.

I found the writing style clunky and bizarre, the characters were flat and unrelatable, the dialogue was forced, and the plot was often ridiculous. The only reason I'm not giving it 0 stars is because it held my interest enough to read it all the way through, but it was not a pleasant reading experience.

I like the premise of the story, but couldn't really connect with the characters. I didn't believe the relationship between the 2 MCs. They fall for each other so quickly and with hardly any interaction. Some of the things they say feel forced, so unnatural. Felt disjointed at times.
The author includes poetry and writes beautifully. I loved the reveal at the end and it *almost* had me buying the next book.
