Damn.
That's my reaction to that end.
Was this book perfect? Nope.
Did I enjoy it? Yes, absolutely!

I want to read the next book. Because I have so much questions. The ending? Wtf!

For your first book (I think) it was really good. The beginning was a bit hard to get into, but once in the story, I was sold. The concept and world building are original, and I loved it. I want to know more about this world and of course I want to see more scenes with Khalani and Takeshi❤

the first 200 pages were a solid 4 - 4,5 stars but after that it sadly went extremely downhill. everything just felt off and rushed. khalani’s and takeshi’s dynamic also suddenly changed which didn’t make sense in my opinion, seeing as how their dynamic was in the first 200 pages of the book.

I’m only giving this 3 stars because of how good the first 200 pages were. I’m honestly unsure if I will continue this series.

So good! I was so hooked. Little confused at the start but I loooooove a prison story. All the characters were well thought out and I loved the way the story revealed itself slowly. And oh my lord the twist at the end! So so good I was not expecting that at all. Can’t wait to read the next one
