I like the idea and you can tell that the story is building to something but it's kinda eh. I did not see the whole machine governor thing coming so that was cool. Kinda makes me want to read the second book.

What a fantastic story!!I love how you are immediately pulled in to the FMC’s story and learn about the world gradually as she does. I jumped right into the next book, one of my favorites this year.

The promise of the book and the plot was incredible. But there was no development to the characters or the story. It was insta-love between the MMC and the FMC.

it was a very fun read, i had a great time, i love almost everything about this book tbh. it's just very millennial and confusing at times, there were small contradictions and dramatics that didn't really fit but i don't care that much because it didn't really affect the story too much.
some quote are so amazing and relatable, it was literally so me and i loved that. i also really loved takeshi and winnie so much, they're such amazing characters. i literally read this in a singular day, i could not stop.
