Okay I definitely think this is the best one of the series so far! Mildred’s heart is always in the right place and she just wants to help others - even old magicians stuck as frogs for decades!!
I do think some of the other characters u fairly judge her and she seems to get punished even when she’s been the victim!! However considering how much trouble she’s got in Ofer the year it’s not that surprising

You can definitely tell these are just like the show but the show tries to add more drama. Still I love Mildred persistence!
I really liked the complexity of this story, another crazy adventure with Mildred... just great!

A wonderful read from my childhood, one I’d certainly suggest for other youngsters. Whilst it is not my all-time favourite childhood read I can still recall all the details of this one meaning it certainly left a lasting impression upon my young mind.

This was such a fun and charming book! I had an opportunity to read the third book in the series first, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment and I actually wish I could have known these books as a kid. The character of Mildred is absolutely delightful and I adored her bad luck and crazy ideas (I may or may not see a bit of young me in her, haha).
The story is really funny and endearing, and I find it perfect for younger readers but I enjoyed it just as much now :)
