Right so don’t get me wrong, Shakespeare is great! But this sucks. It’s got some beautiful soliloquies and sonnets. The use of foreshadowing is brilliant too! But the plot is just bad. It’s a 3 day relationship that rushed into marriage so they could have sex which caused the deaths of so many people. I just wish the plot was as good as the techniques used to write it.

Read it in school, like most people. Didn't think it was amazing but didn't think it was awful. I'm not a massive Shakespeare fan though.
J’ai sincèrement adoré cette pièce. Je pense que le fait d’avoir vu et adoré l’adaptation de Baz Luhrmann avant a sûrement pas mal aidé. Ce qui est certain c’est que le texte est magnifique omg les mots de Shakespeare pour exprimer un amour aussi fou c’est divin.
