The writing style made for a fun read and it felt like it was rly gna say so much and tie up some weird stuff but then it just ended? Felt like such a let down

It is a very no nonsense story about being a woman and a lesbian in the 60's, neither of which were easy ;) I don't think that the Boston Globe's blurb is quite accurate. Reads like a good old fashioned Southern story

really interesting to see what it was like as a queer person not that long ago, makes me really thankful i exist when i do but also a nice reminder that regardless of how the public acts, queer people have always and will always exist.

overall lots of things in this book i enjoyed but a lot of stuff i didn’t and found hard to read
