This audiobook really took me by surprise. It took a little while to warm up to the story, but the further I got into it, the more I loved it. 

It warms and breaks your heart all at the same time. 

I didn’t know a lot about this before reading and I’m glad I didn’t.

Such a fulfilling book. From a boy scared to leave, Mateo because someone so full of life thanks to Rufus, and that was so beautiful to read. This book made me glad that I don’t know when my time will come, I wouldn’t know what to do on my last day. I was so hoping they would beat death-cast, but the title says it all.
