As always, Darynda Jones is amazing! This installment keeps you engaged from the first page. As you delve further in, it gets harder and harder to put the book down. Even though some parts were predictable, there were definitely surprised thrown in. Now to see if I’m right on who the third charmling is

Action-packed and amusing. It’s nice to see a series where all the important characters are middle-aged or older. I did find the main character’s refusal to take reasonable precautions after multiple attempts on her life to be exasperating after a while. Even so, I’ll be picking up the next book in the series when it comes out.

I can't wait for the next installment....

I'm in love with these characters! If you love witty, coffee obsessed, and intelligent heroines then you will love this series. Did I mention the hot man in a kilt???
