This is so cute and sweet! I'm so happy that this explicitly gay prince and knight romance story is available as a picture book. I really like the rhyming text too and the fact that they just catch and tie up the dragon and don't kill it. The illustrations are mostly lovely, although a little bit pixelated on a few pages. I also wish there was some body shape and size diversity in addition to the skin colour diversity (every girl has a super tiny unrealistically small waist!).

So cute! I loved this one so much. A prince looks for his true love and finds it finding a dragon. Mom and Dad are accepting when it is a knight and not a princess. Love this art style.

An inclusive twist on a true love fairy tale, with rhymes that don’t always work quite right. Despite the heteronormative world he *seemed* to live in, the prince loving the knight was something his parents and subjects totally embraced/celebrated.

This was a banned book because it represents a non-hetero relationship. This story-in-rhyme is perfection; it brilliantly makes you fall in love with the prince, presents conflict, and resolves in a happy ending in just a few pages. The illustrations are beautiful and the perfect accompianist to the text; their whimsical and expressive tone bring color to the story, literally and figuratively. Small details, such as one cloud shaped like a heart in a sky of clouds, bring delight. This book gave me so much joy, along with death by cuteness. :) Brought both myself and my girlfriend to tears!
