Prince & Knight

A picture book about a prince who is looking for his bride...none of the young ladies are winning his heart. So in this Disney-style book, the prince battles a dragon and meets a brave knight who is just his type. The king & queen are happy that he has found his match.

A super cute rhyming picture book about a prince looking for love. He finds the perfect match with a handsome knight and they get married. Would make a great read aloud for lower elementary children.

Rounded up for matter of fact retelling, the prince acting to save his people, and having the prince and knight saving each other lives.

I love LGBT children's books. This one's beautifully done. An old-fashioned princess story with a twist.

This is the kind of fantasy story I would read to my kids if I had kids. At the very least, I'm going to recommend it to my sisters-in-law. The poetry is easy to read with a wonderful rhythm that keeps the meter flowing and the illustrations are fascinating and unique, perfectly balanced. I love this book so much.

Not to mention I almost cried at the desk when it's clear they're perfect for each other. I'm such a sap.

This book was amazing. I may or may not have teared up at the end. The illustrations were gorgeous , but the story was beautiful. The story was presented so matter of factly and nobody cared or minded that the prince needed a knight, not a princess...what a wonderful world that would be. ❤️❤️🧡💛💚💙

This story fills a need where few other books exist. The illustrations are good, and the story is pretty decent. The rhyming prose just does not work for me. I've said it a hundred times, but I think it bears repeating-not just any book can or should be written this way. Rhyming is trickier than you would think. It has to roll off the tongue when read, especially if it's being read aloud. And this one just doesn't manage that.

What a sweet story. I wasn’t expecting it to end the way that it did, and then I was pleasantly surprised!

What a wonderful little story about a prince who has to choose someone to marry and rule by his side. He travels the kingdom, meeting all the available lasses, only to know that he is looking for a special person. Whom he meets in a situation of danger.

I love so many things about this book, and it starts with the dedications themselves:To those who have faced scarier foes than dragons in the fight for love - DH and For my mother, whose selfless love inspires me to be open, kind, and loving to others - SL. The story is told in wonderful verse, and the pictures are bright and amazing. The quality of the book itself is amazing. It reminds me of the books of old: thick, glossy papers and well constructed.

But most of all, I loved the acceptance of the King and Queen and the people of the kingdom about the love of these two men. There was never a question about their happiness that their beloved Prince had found his true love. Now this is how the world should be. We need more books like this.
