I had higher hopes for Phillipa Soo's narration. Enemies/work competitors to lovers, no spice romance with the subplot of the duo investigating the past secrets of a famous author.

I didn't really like Nadine or Wes very much at the start (though I understood Wes a lot with his family situation.)

I eventually came around to them, but this isn't really something I'll reread.

The premise was cute and I was thrilled to hear Phillipa Soo and John Cho narrate it. It was a thoughtful story that was complex and well read. I’m excited to read more from Lily Chu! I’m always looking for romance that has an interesting plot and this hit that mark! A little mystery and real world problems, but a great HEA ending with a sweet epilogue.
