3.61 AVERAGE

Slučajno sam naletela na ovaj strip jer sam videla da je bio kandidovan za Goodreads-ovu nagradu, sladak je i verujem da će se većini dopasti, ali sa dosta priča nisam uspela da se povežem, pa odatle ocena 3.

What a fun read! This was not what I expected at all. It was told through comics and shared reader "problems". The whole time I kept nodding my head in agreement.

description

It was a quick fun read with great comics. Loved it!

Love this humorous series of cartoons about the lives of avid readers. So true.

It reminded me of why I love reading in the first place. Very cute and surprisingly witty.
funny lighthearted relaxing medium-paced

just skimmed this one, feel like it would have been effective as an instagram post. honestly, i think i've seen a few of these on instagram. a cute book, but more for a coffee table or a waiting room

If you started reading this thinking it's a linear story, it's absolutely not that. It's basically like a sketch book of quirky ideas, micro stories and comic style memes about reading and writing. Everything is funny and cute. A book to reach for on your shelves when you feel like you need a little pick me up. A book with a new discovery every page. And a book that is made by a book lover for other book lovers.

I loved this book!!
It's easy for the reader to see himself on the page, easy for the writer to identify to what is happening to the character!
I loved the humour, the style, the puns, the full pages illustrating some ideas/notions (like an island for writers or for readers), the metaphors.
I can't but recommand it!

meh. it definitely feels like a series of hackneyed posts on a public library's instagram page, rather than actually having any cohesion or being compelling in any way.

I Will Judge You By Your Bookshelf is a fun series of one and two page comics focussed on the reading and writing life. It’s perfect to dip in and out of and elicited plenty of nods of agreement, more than one wry smile and even a chuckle of recognition.
