Cute! Favorite panel: the one about smelling books! Glad someone else indulges in that yummyness too.
4.5 stars.
Snider's comics have a way of speaking to all the bookworms and writers of all kinds out there. His illustrations are simple yet quirky, and he speaks ALL THE TRUTHS in regards to many bookish, writerly things--mainly procrastination and the quest for inspiration.
If Tom Gauld's cartoons are Juvenalian satire and sometimes more sciencey related, Grant Snider's are a welcome light Horatian satire and have multitudes of (presumably plot) bunnies in them.
Favorite comic: Adventures of Ampersand, of course!!

Inventive, Clever, Charming cartoons about books and the writing of them.
Me ha encantado, lo recomiendo muchísimo, me he echado unas risas y hasta en más de una ocasión me sentí muy identificada.
I borrowed this book electronically through the library without being able to thumb through it first. I feel like I was mislead by the title. The illustrations are cute, but I found the flow of the book to be a little strange. It also seems to be half about the author having writer’s block and feeling insecure in their writing ability, rather than about books themselves.
