I have a thing for comics books about books or love for books and I definitely think this one hits the spot. Really, really enjoyed it and found it funny and relatable.

A very cute book about reading, writing, and literature. There are some illustrations that are trying so hard to fit a series of general ideas about the subjects and there are some series of ideas that are trying so hard to fit what I think is intended to be a chain of illustrations that they lose their meaning. But there are a few pages that I'd definitely share with my fellow book-lovers and casual writers.

Amazingly alliterate!
I resemble a lot of the different readers and am so glad to see that there are others who read many different forms. It was a great mix of literature styles, reading styles and writers,I loved seeing all the differences. I keep thinking that I need to send it to my mother if only she used her kindle. I found the drawing style refreshing and simple yet with enough mystical feeling to be special. I must applaud the author and hope that they keep drawing/ writing.

No sé qué esperaba, pero NO era esto. Todo muy meh y entiendo que a alguien le pueda gustar pero a mi me pareció muy, pero muy vacío. Ni siquiera me hizo reír o reflexionar. No saco literalmente nada de esto. Ni siquiera lo releería por entretenimiento.
También, no sé si es idea mía, pero parece que el autor o autora piensa que los lectores siempre van a querer convertirse en autores. Discordo totalmente. A veces simplemente quieres leer y jamás te surgió las ganas de escribir un libro entero.
Resumiendo, no recomiendo esto, pero de +100 páginas saqué unas tres paginas de ilustraciones interesantes, el resto fue insignificante para mi. :/

This is a comic collection about books, readers, and aspiring writers, with a fantastic title that definitely made me want to pick it up. But if I'm being honest, I thought I would like it more than I did. Most of this was funny and relatable with cute illustrations. But other times, I felt like the jokes fell flat, went over my head, or were too repetitive. Occasionally the illustrations or text would be quite small and therefore hard to read or had too much going which left me with sensory overload.
The cut-out cover was both cool and funny and was a nice element to the book. The parts of this book that I liked I really did enjoy, but this book's length did not add anything to it. I think this book would have really benefited from being shorter. By cutting it down the jokes wouldn't feel so repetitive, the punch lines would have hit better, and the overall concept of this comic wouldn't be so in your face. Overall, I thought this book was fun but it just missed the mark. I wish I had liked it more than I did, but you can't win them all.
