This book is beautiful and genius and gave me a lot of thought. I’d love to see a post apocalyptic film that could do something like these interviews but no, it’s exact use is for books.

I was anticipating a bit of humor in this book, but did not find it at all! Most of the stories were disturbing, full of "real people language" (is that a nice way to put it?), and varied in length and interest. Since this piece of fiction is supposed to be the author's interviews and first-hand reports from survivors, each story serves well on its own but also fits within the context of the other stories from the perspectives of people throughout the world. This was an extremely intriguing idea, but was NOT what I expected - still good, though (if you are into the whole zombie genre).

I read this book quite a long time ago, and just recently finished the audiobook version. What a fantastic cast! Experiencing it in this format has been amazing, feels just like the first time I read the book. I’ve forgotten how well-researched it is (taking into account political conflicts and history). If you're looking for a book that describes how governments and people might respond to a zombie crisis, then this book is definitely for you. There’s also some unforgettable stories on here from the different survivors, the one I enjoyed the most was the woman who was receiving radio transmission from a Skywatcher named Mets.

Loved this book, as a huge fan of Zombies I felt it was a gripping tale that managed to keep you interested. First glance had me a little worried as it has tales from lots of different characters brought into one story but it did it fantastically, it all went together smoothly.Suppose to be a sequel to his first book, A survival guide, but can be read alone and takes a more serious tone, but I personally it makes the book even better. it really makes you believe in the story, that everything in it really happened.

And of course lots of Zombies! I really feel the movie didn't do any justice to the book, I was excited when they said they were making the book into a movie but was a little disappointed. The book is so much better!
