I haven't actually started this and I probably won't ever just because I'm not interested in the books after The Maze Runner unfortunately.

Maybe one day I'll try but as of now I'm just sliding it out of my WTR shelf but still acknowledging its existence.

I actually enjoyed reading how The Flare began, I didn't think the story would be interesting enough. With that said, I wish this book was a novella, it didn't seem to have enough substance to warrant an entire novel.

Also, every chapter only being 3-4 pages long (the same as the original trilogy) is extremely tiresome to read. There doesn't need to be a 'clifhanger' every two minutes, and one simple event doesn't need to be broken up into 10 chapters.
