Definently one of the maze runner books of all time. Kinda cool seeing the fall of civilization, but at the same time, not nearly as good as the other books. Kinda forgettable.

grande no per mark e trina

"She’s immune to the Flare. Use her. Do it before the crazy people find you."
idk bruv I liked some parts but other parts I didnt care for and I wasnt overly attached to the main characters. Mark felt selfishly one dimensional like Thomas. The concept for this book is cool but it feels a lot like just going back to cover up for the lame ending of the original trilogy

How can a book with this much action in be this boring in places? Oh yeah, when there's non-stop action so that you can't draw breath and process it and no character development.
What I liked... The fact that Thomas and Teresa didn't really feature was a real plus. I was beyond bored of them after reading three books about them (especially you Teresa). I liked the flashbacks about how the flares affected the world in the first place (despite the chronological dream format, highly unlikely!) and I liked the descriptions of the Flare's progression and how crazy it turned people.
What I didn't like. Trina was annoying (Dashner has no idea how to write a strong female character). But again you couldn't really care for anyone because they were all so two-dimensional. The middle section with the fight in the berg was particularly dull.
At least it was better than the Death Cure.

Very mediocre. I skipped at least one third of the pages.
