The repetitive phrases annoyed me, and I felt like there wasn't enough substance to make this a full length novel.

I found it boring. While the concept was interesting, I felt there was too much going.

I enjoyed the self contained nature of the book, and how much darker it was compared to the main series. Getting to explore the tragedy of the flare virus first-hand was interesting. Mark having a kill count of something like 40+ was nuts.

Why do I keep reading these awful, depressing, addictive books? Why?

i acc really enjoyed this, even if it was 330 pages of fighting scenes

Good explanation of the beginning and how it all started.

Wow! What a start to the Maze Runner series! Lost of action and dark themes about humanity. I ended up finishing this audiobook in 2 sessions! I was so hooked! The way Dashner describes the infected people was so creepy and shocked me while listening to it. I can't even imagine how I would survive this world. Also that ending! 😱😱

Sería un dos pero el epílogo fue bueno.
