This felt like some other book, not Maze Runner related. It was pretty good just very far removed from the world I'd grown used to. That's why it only gets three stars for me. I feel like I would continue on with the series because of the entertainment value. Maybe it gets wrapped up with a nice bow later on.

It was a good prequel to the original story. Did we need it? Not really! But honestly, the origin was intriguing, so it was cool to hear about it. Another good poolside read!

3.75 - This book almost put me in a slump icl but the end made up for it
Un livre qui permet de mieux comprendre ce qu'il s'est passé, les personnages sont toutefois attachants, j'ai aimé être dans la tête d'un personnage qui lui aussi va basculer dans la folie.
So boring, maybe I’m to old but I didn’t care about anyone, and the plot was boring
