Absolutely. Beautiful. The narrative of both the son and mother were heartbreakingly honest and raw. I love this book so much, it holds a special place in my heart. The way the author described the son’s inner dialogue tore me to pieces, all while nurturing it with the books POV. Truly one of my favorite books ever

I don't know why but this book about form and emptiness filled a void inside me, I wished I could know what would happen with the book. I know it's not the subject of the book, but it was so well written and I got so attached to the characters that I wished it would not end. On my fav pile definitely

This is a beautiful story about grief, loss, and mental illness narrated by a book. I’m not sure it needed to be as long as it was, but the character development is wonderful and the writing is poetic and layered. Well deserving of the Women’s Prize.
