It was okay. The mom, sister, and ex were trash but I hated the mom the most because she kept forcing things.

Also, spoiler and potential TW: SA, but did Dallas basically say he was assaulted by that woman????? I’m so confused.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️.5/5

They had no chemistry and really the book wasn't very good but i liked the drama even though it wasn't salved or nearly prevalent enough

I need to actually stop listening to booktok. I didn’t even care for it. I loved the beginning but feel like about half way through it just fell. How did h not do more to cut off her shitty sister and ex fiancé. Her mom didn’t help worth a shit. I would have punch homie in the face and the fact that the parents were like “just pay us back for the wedding” BITCH! No. Didn’t care for it.

I really enjoyed this book and the characters but I was left feeling unsatisfied, I felt like things with Addison’s family were left unfinished. Couldn’t help but feel disappointed when the end of the book rolled around and I was left with a huge question mark
