Couldn’t put it down. I figured out the twist about halfway through but it was still good. I loved the observations the main character had about family dynamics and life in general. I will say it ended a bit more morbid than expected.

I really enjoyed the story telling. It was twisty in the ways I like and the cliff hangers at the end of each chapter were CLIFF HANGERS. I also liked the way the narrator observed things about families.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love a thriller where I can’t predict the twist which I did not with this one. I saw a few things but still had a very good time.

The book is very compelling and a fun read in the style of Agatha Christie - however the plot twist seemed like a cop-out that was too convenient of an explanation

This thriller falls squarely into the category of meh. There was really nothing that made this stand out or firmly hold my attention.  I'm a casual triller reader but usually pick up a half dozen or so a year so I may not be the best person to address the more technical "thriller" specific aspects of this book and plot but in general I just found it to be not nearly as enjoyable as I had hoped.  The characters were all unlikeable but not in an engaging or dynamic way, there were just run of the ill bad people. I had previously read His and Hers and enjoyed it a lot more than this one so I would probably give Feeney another try but this one was a miss for me.

I figured out what was going on like 130 pages in so then the book felt slow and predictable
