Big fan of Steph’s writing! I enjoyed reading about influencers from the perspective of someone who is equally obsessed with the phenomenon.

I liked the idea, but the author unfortunately doesn’t seem to be any level of journalistic digging. The anecdotes are certainly interesting, but I was really expecting a more hard-hitting look at influencing as an industry or even a slightly critical reading of the industry.

What a fascinating look behind the scenes of influencer culture. We’ve all been influenced since the early days of bloggers, and I love how seriously the author takes this topic. Influencers matter! And I learned a lot.

So, the narration was slightly much, I listened to this one. Also,  just don’t think I really cared about the content, so I didn’t have any interest to keep going. It will be good for some, but if you aren’t influenced by or influencing social media, you may not care to hear more about it, or at least I found I didn’t.

I feel like this is on me because I work in the influencer industry, but most of this was stuff I already knew so it wasn’t super captivating for me. But I did like the authors message and overall purpose.
