This was another great addition the Stone Riders series. That ending? I NEED the next book right now!
I am usually not a fan of the fake marriage storyline but this one worked so well. The drama, the spice, the history - it was all fantastic. I had a hard time putting this book down. It is going onto my bookshelf the second it’s released.

Jameson and Pen have one of those ‘love stories of the ages’ type of ones. First meeting when they are 13, they grow up together never fully admitting their feelings for each other. Instead, 3rd wheel Luke weasels his way in there with Pen but drops her when she is pregnant, leaving Jameson to pick up the pieces. There is also a whole bunch of MC drama, but I like to focus on the sweet love story.
One trope that got old fast was the miscommunication. If they simply had a conversation with each other, they could have bypassed the other guy drama.

I loved the Stone Rider MC giving a Pen and Jameson a safe place to land.

Where We Promise is the third book in the Stone Riders MC series. It’s a fake marriage, small town romance.

I am absolutely loving this series! This author knows how to weave a tale of heart, pain and healing. Jameson and Penelope had the burning chemistry and intense connection. I devoured their love story. Plenty of action, drama and steamy moments. So ready for the final book!

Jameson King inherited his presidency to the Chaos Kings, but when he ends up grabbing his childhood loves hand to get her to safety after the father of her unborn baby (Jameson's former VP, Luke) took over the club, it becomes clear things changed faster than anyone could keep up with. When they and a few of his more loyal members take refuge away from the carnage of their old club, the Stone Riders take them in. Tidbits of Jameson, Penelope, and Luke's history is shared alongside the present, leaving us without all of the reasons behind the actions until the very end, but the angst and pining were soul deep!

There was so much painful history, mutual pining, wrong timing, and interference to Jameson and Penelope's story. So many raw emotions.... longing, betrayal, bitter acceptance, and so much willingness to burn for and with each other! I'm LOVING this series so far and I absolutely died for Jameson King's filthy mouth... holy hell that man could flood the desert with the words he spoke to her when they finally let go! 🤤🥵🫠 excuse my puddle...

This is a series I will be buying once I get to experience the absolute devotion of Silas and Natty.... because damn. Those two are going to burn the world down in this final book!
