Where we Promise is the third book in the Stone Riders series, and so far my favorite. Jameson and Penelope make it’s complicated look easy. The angst and miscommunication were all told in a dual timeline. Jameson surprised me, as he protects Pen and gives her what she needs.
I am in LOVE with the series, and this world, it has taken me by surprise. Typically, I am not an MC reader, but every now and then, an author will pull me in and hold me. Recommended!

Ugh I was SO excited for this one but I did not love it:/ I am going through a bad book slump right now and so I think it’s like hashing my reading vibe but I’m not sure.
I had completely forgot that from snippets in earlier books pen and the MMC had known each other for a while. So when we got into this one and we saw the flashbacks from her childhood I was sort of shocked. I liked them at first, I think flashbacks can be very enjoyable but I don’t enjoy them past the 50% mark.
I also honestly just didn’t enjoy the MMC. Like he didn’t pursue her when they were younger because he wanted to be better for her but yet he always knew he would become the mc president

This one was good. Ashley sucks you in with these characters and their stories. I've been loving this MC series. I can't wait for the next book.
