I liked this book a whole lot - Jameson and Penelope had a rocky road to their HEA but it was ultimately very satisfying. There were some really sweet moments that I just loved, their wedding for one - those vows were so romantic. And the last couple chapters were pretty freaking intense and have me so excited for the next book.

This might be one of the best MC series! Each book brings with it its own different angst. And each book builds up the next couple. So it makes you more anxious to read the next one!
If you've read book 2, we were introduced to Jameson and Penelope. Who is in a very tough situation. Penelope is pregnant with Jamesons VP's baby. Who doesn't want the baby (or Pen) anymore. And who just took over Jameson's club.
Jameson has promised to take care of Penelope. And he's using any means necessary. Which now includes... marriage?! Yes, yes, besides forced proximity (he's protecting her), friends to lovers (they knew each other when they were young!), it's also fake marriage!
There's some real-life stakes here. Penelope is in trouble, and so is her baby. It makes it a little more realistic in my book on why they're fake marrying. Like they're members of a club. These men are very dangerous.
We also get to see Jameson, Penelope, and Luke's history together. Like in Book 1 of this series, it was sometimes so sweet but also sometimes heartbreaking.
Jameson is a real stand-up guy. We really see why Penelope falls for him. And Penelope was such a sweetheart who's been given a bad hand. So i enjoyed when she got what she deserved. We also get to see the other couples in this series pretty often, which I enjoyed, AND omg the next couple... each time they showed up in the book I was like, I've got to know they're dynamic!!

If you need me, I will be over here living my fictional life in this MC club Ashley Munoz has created! I never thought this would be my life but, I love the characters she has created for this series and Penelope and Jameson have had a piece of my heart since the end of Where We Belong!
As a young girl, Penelope was brought by her mother to live with the Chaos Kings and with an unassuming offer of a pudding cup she fell in love with Jameson King. Unfortunately, Jameson felt as though he wasn’t the right choice for Pen, pushing her away from even a young age to give her a life outside of the MC club that eventually took over his life. In doing so, he pushed her into the arms of Luke, his VP and all around smarmy, bad guy. Now, pregnant with Luke’s baby and shunned by the club, Jameson is forced to seek out help from neighboring club, the Stone Riders, to ensure Pen’s safety. But, when that’s not enough, the only thing left to do for ultimate protection is marry her!
I love it when characters have a history of “more” when they are kids and the flashbacks in this story gave me all the vibes I craved. Jameson has a sweet, yet protective nature toward Penelope I just adore in a story and Pen has an innocence about her that allows Jameson’s character to envelope her in the most natural way. Throughout the story you get the feeling these two were always meant to be together and their connection goes bone deep. But not everything about this couple conveys sweetness because their bedroom antics are anything but…so, if you’re wanting that spice, it’s definitely included.
More than anything, I love how the series characters are intertwined in each book! Seeing Wes & Killian work together with Jameson to protect Pen, and their own ladies, was so great and Pen’s sweet relationship with side character, Harris, made me tear up a bit. And, seeing bits and pieces of Natty & Silas throughout this book has me seriously anticipating the next release! I can’t wait!

I love a book that pulls at my heart strings. As soon as Jameson and Penelope meet at 13 I was invested in their love story. They each go through a lot emotionally before they get their HEA but when they get there it’s beautiful. I teared up a few times while reading. Definitely give this a read you won’t regret.
