happy to say that these books have continued to get better one book at a time.
this book was a big ole bag of miscommunication + unresolved feelings x unnecessary drama with another man = the relationship that is Jameson & Penelope 😂.
Penelope, sweet sweet Pen, she loved Jamie since she was 13 and could never figure out how to tell him until some forced proximity happened. her story made me tear up a few times because she felt so alone after everything with her mom & Luke and then she felt like Jamie was just being sweet to her out of pity 😩.
Jameson King. I think he’ll be my favorite of the series, if Silas takes that spot i’ll just fall over because that man gives me the heebie jeebies. anyways, back to Jamie, he was frustrating because he seemed to always say something that ruined a moment with them (not that Pen didn’t have her moments too he just had more 😂). he thought that she gave up on him so he gave up on his dream of being with her but then he dropped everything to help her and even though he went about EVERYTHING the wrong way when he finally was honest and opened up to Penelope I was like “FINALLY”.
side story with the club again was entertaining, i’m upset we didn’t dive more into the issues with all the dads and how they all seemed to get out of prison and band together but I get that the romance is the main focus of the story. maybe we’ll dive in more in Silas & Natty’s book since this book ended on a cliffhanger with them.

WOW. I absolutely LOVE Pen & Jameson's story. It is so heartbreakingly beautiful. I really liked how the story focused around them but also the plot of the other clubs. I really liked that Killian and Wes were still involved. The ending was so unexpected for me and I am here for it!!!

This was so good. Sweet and a spicy little slow burn. I love second chance romance and while this wasn’t EXACTLY that, it’s got the same vibes, friends to lovers-ish, lots of history which is my absolute favorite. Ashley’s writing makes me want to be a better writer. I loved that Jamie was sweet but also had a darker side and a man that steps up and takes care of a kid that isn’t biologically his? Fvcking swoooon. Loved him.

When Jameson and Penelope met for the first there was an instant connection with them when they were in high school. Penelope pretty much chased after him throughout her whole childhood. Until one day she had to give up. Now pregnancy tropes aren’t everyone’s favorites but it did bring these two back together again.  Jameson needs to keep her safe. I’m always a sucker for a good MC romance and this one delivered. Second chance romances mixed in with please share your feelings with one another and a wedding and you have yourself a great romance story.

I received this ARC through the author and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.

I’m OBSESSED. Right hand up, you have to read this series. I was somewhat hesitant about the pregnancy trope, but let me tell you now? If I could read a pregnancy trope like this all the time? I would never complain about a single thing. This was done with such grace and skill that I couldn’t imagine. I’ve read all the Stone Riders series and each one just adds to this amazing world Ashley Muñoz has created. I love this so much.

“I’d like to taste you properly Mrs. King.” 🫡🔥 SIR YES SIR.

I could go on. But honestly? JUST READ THEM (please) ♥️

Obsessed. Oh my lord, I’m obsessed. I don’t know what Ashley put in this book, but I absolutely devoured it. Jameson & Penelope bring ALL the feels. And I do mean ALL of them. I mean their history, their love, all of it is so good. All Penelope wanted was for Jamie to notice her. From their first interaction, I could tell he was so far gone for her. It was so clear that Penelope had always been it for Jameson, but how in the world did she end up pregnant with Luke’s baby?! I needed to know what they heck happened between them. I couldn’t put it down. There are so many twists, and this one hurt. Pining on both ends, but never managing to figure it out until their hands are forced? There was so much working against these two, and I hated that so much turmoil is what brought them together, but they are so meant to be, and I am LIVING for their love. I really enjoyed Penelope and Natty’s friendship, partly because we get to learn more about Natty after she’d been such a mystery the last few books, but also because Pen just needs people in her corner, and I love Natty for her. And Jameson? Swoon. I love that man.
Beyond Jamie & Pen though, we get the continuation of the overarching story with the Stone Riders and everything that has been happening in the first two books, and my jaw dropped. I literally had to message Ashley in the middle of the night because I was panicking and couldn’t put the book down, but also didn’t know what else to do or who I could talk to.
And I need an honorable mention for Harris because THAT MAN DESERVES THE WORLD. The way he made me cry more than once in this book?!?!?!
This entire series has been so masterfully woven with all the twists and turns, yet is full of so much heart,  love, and spice with all the protective, possessive heroes (anti-heroes? whatever they’re considered, I love them) and their ladies. I love the found family we have in the Stone Riders, and I can’t wait for more.

What a wild ride and intriguing story that honestly still has me on edge with that epilogue 😂 Ashley just blew me away with this one. I was captivated and entranced the ENTIRE TIME.

Penelope and Jameson's story is one full of angst, tension, and heartbreak. The flashbacks really hit you hard. It added so much to the story and understanding of their relationship. Penelope had me in awe. She is so strong and resilient. Jameson is protective and intelligent. These two had so much longing and tension between them. Jameson taking on the daddy role was everything, and boy does he do it well.

The action and suspense that went on had me biting my nails (yikes) and my heart beating faster. I was so WORRIED and SCARED for everyone involved.

I loved getting more of the Stone Riders group, and Silas keeps intriguing me more and more. I cannot wait for his book. I need it like I need air.
