I’m not going to be able to wait for the next one to listen via audio so I’m going to download the ebook. This series is so good. Omg what Jameson did to Luke?! I actually wished we saw more of Luke in the past scenes with Pen and Jameson.
4.5⭐️
Favourite one so far!
I love Jameson and Penelope! These two were made for each other!
The way Jameson finally steps up and give Penny exactly what she's been wanting since they were both 13 is great, and he is so possessive over her! I will admit that at times, he was maybe a little too possessive, but the way he steps up for her baby, who's not his, is swoonworthy!
Penelope has been through a lot, this poor girl! She is a fighter, though, and finally gets her place next to Jameson!
I love the marriage of convenience trope, and seeing it all unfold!
I'm looking forward to Silas and Natty' story next! It has intrigued me throughout the series, so I am looking forward to fully understanding their relationship!

I was dying to see the story unfold between Penelope and Jameson and it did not disappoint! My heart in this book with the push and pull was insane! The pregnancy, the hero complex, the marriage of convience - yes!
I am flying through these!
I think this was my favorite one so far! But I am so excited to read Silas and Nattys story!

Where We Promise completely broke my heart. The struggle, the pain, and the hurt that Jameson and Penelope suffered through was tragic and devastating. But their love story was also beautiful and redeeming and incredible. I was so happy that these two fought through the pain of their past to find their way back together and I just absolutely loved Jamie for Pen. He was absolutely perfect and loved her like no one else ever could.
This is book 3 in this series, and I am absolutely obsessed with this world and these characters! Each book is a different couple but should be read in order for it to make more sense.
In this book we get Jameson and Penelope's story.
We get past and present scenes that help us understand their dynamic more and how they got to be where they are now. I don't want to give any of the good stuff away, so if you like MC club, Fake Marriage (but it's so much more), Pregnancy (not his baby but he claims them both), then go grab this book!
I'm super excited for the next couple in this series because the buildup of them has had me on edge! I love every couple so far and can't wait for the next book!!!!

Not sure why I love this series so much but I am invested.
I like where the storyline is going, but the miscommunication was draining
Whew, I feel like I just got off a roller coaster ride. That cliffhanger!!
Ashley Muñoz does an amazing job of foreshadowing future character's stories so when I say I NEED Silas and Natty's book. I NEED it NOW. Okay, back to Jameson and Penelope. I loved that their origins went back to childhood and growing up within an MC setting. I haven't seen this approach very much in MC books so it was refreshing to see a different side of the culture that the characters were raised in.
There is lots of pining from both sides, which I love but the main plot point is the fake marriage. This creates lots of angst between the two about what is real and how their past affects their feelings. Needless to say, Jamie is very protective over Pen and both struggle over if the other would have picked them if not for the circumstances. I struggled a bit with the timeline shifts and felt fuzzy about which was the big "moment" that caused her to leave. There was some tension between them in the last third of the book that was a bit frustrating to read. However, the book still is very sentimental in the best ways and I recommend this read!

Jameson, you fucking idiot. You are a GRONK and you deserved a decade of unhappiness! FFS!
