Great things about listening to this on audiobook at gym/on walks:
1. Motivation to meet goals at gym and on walks!
2. Amy Poehler read it, and it was wonderful in her voice.
3. She also had a lovely cast of other actors doing voices and parts of her book, and it was wonderful.
4. The book itself is wonderful and lovely and witty and wry and everything I love about Amy Poehler.

Less great things about listening to this on audiobook at gym/on walks:
1. Took forEVER to finish lol! Between different health goals, travel, weather, and just, y'know, life in general- didn't go as quickly as I would have liked!

I had a really hard time getting through this meandering, short essay collection by Amy Poehler. I like her work and expected to enjoy her book; however, while I occasionally enjoyed a paragraph or two, the book as a whole was disjointed and written so strongly as stream of consciousness that I found it a chore to keep up with her. I read it all and while I feel a tiny bit like I know her better (which for me one main reason I read autobiographies), mostly I feel like I could have spent my time better.

2.5. I wanted to LOVE this book. I adore Amy and all her wacky characters. In the book, she tries so hard to be so funny.

Both lighthearted & full of wisdom... Ms. Poehler isn't perfect, but she's striving. I honestly laughed & teared up reading this book
