This was a decent book. Felt like a bunch of short stories at the beginning and then when the larger story takes shape. It was missing Jack Ryan, which was unexpected. The overall flow worked well and had the breakneck pace Clancy provides. It also had a bunch of boring techno mumble jumble and bitching about paperwork and bureaucracy.
This the last Tom Clancy book I will ever try and read. I'm afriad that as of today i have Black Balled the author and will be removing all his books from my collection.

In order to fight terrorism US and their allies from NATO form a multinational special forces outfit. Unit is lead by John Clark and soon finds itself fighting increasing number of terrorists attack throughout the world. Finally true perpetrators are identified and they are not what many [or even anyone] would consider to be common foe.[return][return]I especially like the ending.[return][return]Recommended.
Another of Tom Clancy's hard to put down novels featuring John Clark and Ding Chavez. They put together a small, hard-hitting, well-trained, fast-strike force (Rainbow) to help combat terrorism around the world. Lots of action, interesting plot twists, and fun little sidetrips from time to time. If you liked Without Remorse, this is another you will enjoy.
not his best work. the Jack Ryan books are much better.

Can't remember much about it, but I did like it! I read it because I played the game on Mac a lot. Classic.

Absolutely horrible dialogue writing. Reflective of a stunningly adolescent obsession with types of weapons and the strategy of shooting things as if they were no more than pixels in a video game. The relationships between characters are too idyllic and are simple archetypes that seem like they resulted from the mental exercises of an 8 year old after playing a first person shooter.
